  1. I sent a Christmas card to a boss of mine. I signed the card Morton & Mable Cagwell. I put in a note of greeting explaining that we were expecting our first child. Nothing too exceptional about that except that that isn’t my name and we weren’t expecting. Still not a major prank yet. However the next Christmas I sent another, signing it the same except this time I added the name of a child noting that we were expecting again. I kept this up all the years that I worked there
After four years I left and moved on. However I continued to send the card with a new child’s name each Christmas for ten years. Finally some one said are you ever going to tell him its you send them.
I got some actor friends of mine to call my ex-boss and arrange a meeting. He went at the urging of his wife whom I recruited to help us. He met the actors in a bar and they went on like they were old friends. He was sincerely confused. They knew all about him and he just nodded his head and went along with it. Finally I stepped up to the table and reached for the peanut bowl. He looked up and did a double take worthy of a silent movie comedian. I told him what I had done and he was elated. He said that he had been blaming his cousin all these years, and what a great prank he thought it was. He even bought me dinner.

  2. On April Fools day I woke up really early in the morning to prank my dad. You see, his Playstation 3 is his life, and second to that is his Guitar Hero game. We have cats, so I took an old Beyonce CD, and I scratched it up and I snapped it in two. When he woke, I came up to his with teary eyes, I said
“Dad, the cats got at your game,”
The look on his face was priceless! He was flabbergasted, and when I finally laughed, he was like, ‘What’ and me and my mom yelled
