Today is Giving Tuesday and in the spirit of helping others, we wanted to give you a quick and easy way to support your community this holiday season!
Whether you’re a non-profit trying to raise some extra funds, a business looking to increase awareness about a favorite charity, or an individual wanting to make a difference, Lulu makes it easy to contribute to the causes that are close to your heart!
A Giving Tuesday Gift!
If you would like a portion of your proceeds to go to your favorite charity or organization this holiday season (or anytime!), simply log into your Lulu account and click on “My Projects”.
From there, select “Payment Contacts” under “My Revenue” on the left-hand side of the screen.
On the following page, select “Add new payee”.
To set up an individual or organization as a payment contact, you will need an email address and a Social Security Number (SSN) for an individual or an Employer Identification Number (EIN) for an organization as well as a physical address. On this screen, you can also designate if the new contact should be paid via check or PayPal.
Once you’ve got all the information entered, select “Save Payee Information” and you will see the second contact appear under the original on the “Payment Contacts” page.
Now that you have the new contact set up (way to go!) you can go back to your projects page and pick which one you would like to use for donations. Simply click on the title of the project to go to the project details page. Once you’re there, you can scroll down to the “Creator Revenue Split” and hit “Edit”.
This will allow you to assign what percentage of the revenue you would like to contribute. After entering the desired amount, click “Save Changes”.
On the next screen, you should see a green banner at the top of the page letting you know that your information has been successfully updated!
There you have it! Now get out there and start giving!
